Carrotwood Birdhouse

This Birdhouse was made from a section of a Carrotwood tree which grew too close to the patio of my customer's home.  She shipped the wood and I cut, dried and built a songbird house out of it.    The home is located in southern California so I made the house with a Pacific rim influence.  I hope to be able to add a picture with residents in it this spring!  Here is the process I used.
