Cottage Style Birdhouse

This Cottage style songbird house is  made from rift-sawn Yellow Pine for the house body and White Pine for the base and roof.  The The rift-sawn Yellow Pine creates the vertical lines with clearly defined summer and spring wood.  The White Pine is a nice contrast with it's creamy white color.  The house is finished with 3 coats of gloss spar-varnish.
